Preparing for a New Year and Moonshot Thinking

As I return to work, I am refreshed and ready to tackle what lies ahead for us in the education world. My enthusiasm has been met by two new districts requesting assistance with the effective implementation of technology in their school systems.  This affirmation of my action plan definitely reignites the fire within me to influence teachers to differentiate and personalize their instruction in order to engage and empower student achievement.  What an exciting beginning to a New Year and Moonshot Thinking!

At Sheppard Software, there are hundreds of free, online, educational games for kids. Anyone interested in online learning can use this site - there are so many subjects - (geography, math, animals, science, etc...) and many levels of games and activities for learners of any age.

Quia offers some great activities for practicing states and capitals -- flashcards, a matching game, a concentration game, and a word search.
